Turkish military on Friday night released a statement saying that armed forces had 'fully seized control' of the country. As per the reports, army tried to to overthrow President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. All flights from Istanbul's Ataturk airport were cancelled. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube were restricted. Atleast 60 people have lost their lives including 17 Turkish officials.
